TAS-CO has maintained a continuous ISO certification since 1998 starting with QS9000. TAS-CO keeps a certified quality system in place to help ensure our customers of our continual commitment to excellence and open communication.

 

Conflict Minerals

Under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) adopted a rule requiring publicly traded companies to disclose their use of gold, columbite-tantalite (coltan), cassiterite, wolframite, and their derivatives. The intent of the conflict minerals rule is to ensure ethical business conduct with responsibly sourced materials.

 

REACH and SVHC

REACH is an EU Regulation that defines obligations along the whole supply chain to provide information regarding the safe use of chemicals within manufactured articles. Under this regulation the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has created a list of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC). Manufacturers are urged to check whether substances included on the candidate list are contained in their material (either product or packaging) in a concentration above 0.1 % (by weight).

If your business prefers the secure dedicated platform of document exchange through the EDI network, TASCO is setup and ready to become a trading partner with you. TAS-CO also uses PLEX or Plex-Online with several customers for purchase orders, barcodes, ASN's and quality reporting to assist with a seamless ordering experience for all of our customers.

 

IMDS Reporting

The IMDS (International Material Data System) is the automobile industry's material data system. IMDS facilitates the national and international standards, laws, and regulations by presenting all materials used within the automotive manufacturing process.
